Agaricus Blazei is a species of mushroom, known as himematsutake and by a number of other names. This mushroom is best known for its purported medicinal properties. Because of its high beta glucan content, higher than both Reishi and Shiitake mushrooms, Agaricus Blazei is used in oncological therapy (branch of medicine that studies the development, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of tumor/cancer), mainly in Japan and California. It has been commercially cultivated in Asia and South America since 1993. Because of this valuable polysaccharide, and lack of supply, Agaricus blazei used to be relatively expensive, until it was sucessfully artificiallly cultivated in mushroom farms. Agaricus blazei mushroom specifically assists in the production of interferon and interleukin, which are potent in fighting off cancer cell metastasis, especially cancer of the uterus. It also reduces blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol levels and the effects of arteriosclerosis.

I have been using homeopathic products and find that it is hit or miss depending on your individual body chemistry. For example, I have had amazing success with various supplements and of course magnetics. We all know that detoxing of the body is critical for the betterment of one's health; however many can't take oral treatment due to their body's sensitivity to certain compounds. For those and some of us that prefer an alternative, the patches are an outstanding choice.
This review is for the Silver, however it can apply to Medical Marvel's other patches as well. I bought their variety pack (to save money and see which would best suit my needs) and found to they all work as described. Proof is in the patch when you remove it and SEE the result. I don't know they will work for you like any treatment is will vary depending on your body's needs. If you have had success with detox products give patches a try. If your not sure or don't know is always best to read more on the topic and talk to a professional healthcare provider.

I had a trial pack of 6 of similar detox pads. Every morning that I used these, I woke up and threw away the smelly, icky pad. Seemed like it did something. So I bought this 100 pack.
After using them for a few days, I read up on wikipedia about all the scientific tests, etc that were done and it was verified that these do not work. So I asked myself, than why do they change colors and stink when I used them? As a test, I put a slightly wet paper towel on one over night. The next day it was smelly and icky like it was on my foot.
Bottom line is these are a hoax..they're snake oil. Your feet is not the type of membrane that can support a detox. That icky pad in the morning is from moisture, not toxins.
Save yourself the trouble, buy some pills, change your diet, and accept the fact that you can't throw money at a problem and just work out a little bit each day. |
